# Agio protocol

## Overview

> As the crypto market is volatile, we want to ensure that people feel secure when investing. This is where Agio intervene: an user can cover his losses while still benefiting from the rise of his investments. But how is it possible ?

> Agio is a decentralized and trustless platform where people can protect up to 100% of their losses in crypto while benefiting from their upside potential. Our goal is to redefine how users invest in the crypto currency markets by letting people hedge their losses against a downside movement in price.

> By depositing their assets in our platform, users **can control their losses as they know in advance how much fee they will pay to be completely covered in case of a price downside on the tokens they deposited into Agio.**
